At the coffeehouse,
the coffee tasted sweet
even without sugar.
I was doubtful and uncertain
but every sip and
deep breath gave me strength.
The coffee was hot but
was it better if it was served frozen
like the atmosphere of our conversation?
I was not lying but
sincerely praying.
No regrets even after my last sip
though uncertainty was left
with my half-filled cup
